Introduction

Dr. Vikas Mahajan is a pioneer in establishing neonatal care facilities at SMGS Hospital, Jammu. He is currently serving as Professor & Head, Department of Pediatrics at Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences, Sidhra.

He is the Secretary of the National Neonatal Forum, Jammu & Kashmir Branch, and has contributed more than 20 publications in national and international journals.Dr. Mahajan has a keen interest in developing and strengthening neonatal care services, especially in low-resource settings, with a strong commitment to improving newborn survival and quality of care.
