Radiodiagnosis and Imaging

A radiologist is a medical doctor specializing in diagnosing and treating illnesses using imaging techniques like X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, acting as a consultant to other doctors by interpreting images and guiding treatment, with sub-specialties including diagnostic (interpreting images) and interventional (performing image-guided procedures). Becoming one requires extensive education, including an M.D./D.O., a residency in radiology, and often further fellowship training, making them key parts of the healthcare team
